Electric bicycles are nothing new or unprecedented but the Marrs Cycles electric cruiser definitely is unheard of before. This is a complete bicycle with a lot of style, motorcycle styling, and solid performance.

This electric bicycle stands out as a special one for a very simple reason; the entire bicycle has been hand crafted right from the scratch by a small team of e-bike enthusiasts who started the company (Marrs) in 2007. Their mission is to handcraft the highest quality electric cruisers that ride like motorcycles, but should fall under the bicycle category. This e-bike uses Metzeler motorcycle tires with 10 gauge motorcycle spokes. Stopping power comes from an Avid piston hydraulic brake and large 9 inch rear rotor. Interestingly, Marrs has not disclosed any precise information regarding the details of the bike’s electric drive train, but claims that it will be powered by the most potent rear hub motor system available. The battery is housed in a stylish wood veneer battery box, which is incorporated into the biker’s frame design.

Apparently, this is going to be sold at a whopping $6,499. However, considering the copious features the bicycle offers, it’s still a good deal to splurge on it!
