Microsoft Corporation is all prepared to set the world of internet on fire, with its saltest plans to begin work on the next generation web browser, Internet Explorer 9. The announcement was made at the Professional Developers Conference (PDC), where Microsoft has stated its plans to work on the proposed IE 9.
After the highly successful launch and sales of the latest Microsoft operating system, Windows 7, Microsoft it seems is now focusing all its attention on its not so famous Internet Explorer series, that has always been despised by a majority of users. There have been various attempts to improve the IE, with version 7 and version 8 being introduced for the users. However, even these upgrades haven’t been able to have any positive impact on the tarnished image of Internet Explorer.
The new proposed Microsoft IE9 needs to have massive improvements and updates that would enable it to come to the levels of Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. One of the primary changes that users across the globe might wish to see, is an improved user interface, that would compel the users to switch to IE9. Another change that needs to be inculcated in the new browser, is the support for third party applications, wherein, IE9 needs to be faster and more efficient while running the applications.
Microsoft, if at all is serious about the all new IE9, then it needs to ensure that, it analyzes all the faults and deficiencies that have rendered the previous internet explorer editions ineffective. There are a lot of changes that are required for the Internet Explorer 9 to become a success in the market and without such changes, the introduction of IE9 will again be just an other addition to the dump of Microsoft Internet Explorers that is now rotting in its download servers.
