Even with 100% efforts, Microsoft has still not been able to catch up with the other leading mobile phone manufacturers and it seems that this fact is, really irritating the upper echelons of Microsoft management. In an attempt to revitalize its mobile platform, Windows Mobile, Microsoft it seems has revamped and renamed its mobile services to Windows Phone.
However, the buzz all over the internet suggests, that many see this move to be a futile and an extremely confusing move at part of Microsoft. Not only Windows Mobile remains the same rickety platform, the users around the world, will be clueless, as to whether Windows Phone is a OS for mobile devices or is it actually a smart phone?
The latest commercial that is being aired in the United States and the United Kingdom, is proving to be utterly confusing to the point where, one is mystified to know whether, Microsoft had created this advertisement for its own promotion, AT&T’s promotion or to advertise HTC Pure.
On the other hand, the all new Windows Phone is offering a free upgrade to Windows Mobile operating system platform version 6.5 that promises to deliver bold new features, stability and promises to be a charm for the Windows Phone users. Now, how well Microsoft fares in the mobile arena, only time will tell. Till then, Windows Phone is very much a reality and is exclusively available via AT&T in the United States.
