Feeling lonely? How about occupying your lonely space with a personalized robot to accompany you and also help you out in your simple day to day activities? Perhaps, this sounds a good deal. You can make this possible literally. All you have to do is to send a picture of your choice to Little Island, Japanese Company who will then create a Mini Me robot for you based on the picture that you send. They will cost you $2,215 for this purpose though!
The concept is rather interesting. The Mini-Me robotic doll converse with you. It would be a great companion especially when you are plagued by loneliness and you want someone beside you to talk to. It can also read RSS feeds and make VOIP calls for you. It’s in fact a computer, which is powered by a 500MHz processor. It also runs Windows XP as the operating system.
Besides, it also has a 80g solid state drive, a speaker, a webcam and various sensors and servos. There is also a power cord and Ethernet cable attached to its butt. It can also emulate your voice with the help of its loaded voice recognition and speech synthesis software.
