Here is interesting news for the guitar enthusiasts. So far you are familiar with the electric guitars, acoustic guitars, and the like but you may not yet be aware of the Misa digital guitar, which is a digital guitar. Unlike the traditional acoustic and electronic guitars that are used for different art forms and different music, the Misa digital guitar is used for electronic music. Hence, its functions differ entirely from the traditional guitars. In short, it is used for a different genre of music.
In any guitar, the string does the job of controlling the sound of music. You manipulate the movement of the strings to produce the desired sound or music in the ordinary guitars but in the Misa digital guitar there are no strings. The right hand doesn’t pluck strings but it controls sound. The instrument looks pretty simple and effective as well.
The instrument is powered by the Linux operating system. This gives ample independence to the programmer to manipulate the way it functions, and can also change the interface to provide specific functionality. Misa Digital is based in Sydney, Australia. It is a MIDI controller and must be plugged into a MIDI capable sound module. The idea is really cool and I definitely want to buy myself one.
