The last time I burned my hands, I wondered why the first-aid kit did not come with gloves that would allow me to not burn my hands at all, eve if I came into contact with fire. Looks like someone thought the same way at the U.S. army and the temperature resistant gloves are already being used by the soldiers in Iraq where shrapnel and fire attacks are common. The Outdoor Research has unveiled the Modular Gloves which are not only flame resistant but also can handle sub-zero temperatures.

The gloves are manufactured with a super strong material called the Wolverine and are lightweight. It comes with a three-layer soft shell fabric and is stretchable all the four ways. These can be used by firefighters too and those who work in perhaps industries and factories where fire hazards are common.

In my opinion, it is truly awesome that such a great product is available in market already and can now be used by not only professionals but also the common people who may come in contact with flames and fire too. The Modular Gloves cost $1,100.
