France Simard certainly loves her dogs a little too much, for she has created Molly & June, inspired by her two doggie friends. The designs are directed at dogs who have rich owners, and those who are interested in fashion. Dog clothes with great style could be hard to find and when there is a fashion designer designing the clothes, you could pretty well rest assured that your dog would be the most fashionable in the neighbourhood.

The clothes are handmade in Toronto and come in great materials such as wool, cashmere and organic cotton. At $45 to $180, they cost almost like any other prêt companies.

It would be nice to see a well dressed dog snottily look at humans who do not have a great sense of humour. It may sound funny to you but a lot of people do want to get their dogs clothed for they see it as another way the dogs could be assimilated into human life. Unfortunately, the animals may certainly not like the idea of being clothed and it does not seem to matter to either the designers or the owners themselves.
