
After a stagnation period (after the end of series as “Seinfeld” and “Friends”, it seems that the TV NBC network will stop being reason of joke, retaking itsr prominence place among the American broadcasting stations. If not in a whole, at least in a very specific segment that is winning more and more force in the world.
The Today show, a program that is exhibited during the mornings by NBC is throwing a service destined to a “mommy” audience is offering clues on the most several topics to mommy bloggers. The success of that recently thrown service is so big that to NBC already thinks about throwing an application for smartphones, in an attempt to join more value to the thrown service.
That website, that actually is a web-based offshoot of the Today Show, called TODAYMoms.com, actually it is a mixture of the own Today Show with a social network, in which mothers can create profiles and to participate at discussion forums.
As that initiative giving positive results, would not a good idea be for NBC to create more contents with that format? Who knows in that way Connan O’Brien, host of Tonight Show, and Saturday Night Live might stop a little with their parodies and critics to their own broadcasting station?
