CIA denied information to the Congress on a secret program of antiterrorism commanded by the former-vice-president of the United States Dick Cheney, affirmed a North American senator on this Sunday.

The democratic senator Dianne Feinstein said to Fox News Sunday that the director of CIA, Léon Panetta, revealed the involvement of Cheney when he instructed members of the Congress two weeks ago. According to her, Panetta told to them to have canceled the program.

News on the involvement of Cheney, initially published by the newspaper Times Saturday night, incited a wave of critics of democrats, that were leaning for republicans in the Congress.

Feinstein pointed out that the Congress should have been informed on the secret problem and that the vice-president should not be above the law. Cheney often thought that should not answer to anyone about his actions, as if he was  above the good and evil.

Cheney was the main defender of the use of controversial interrogation methods in the government Bush and turned himself into a main republican critic of the politics of national security of Obama.

The republican senator Jeff Sessions said to believe that the allegations of Cheney will be investigated.
