Today Facebook began rolling out an all new feature called, ‘Questions’. One of the principal motives of social networking is to provide users with a platform, wherein not they can connect with their family and friends, but can also find solution, recommendations and advices in regards to various topics. The all new Questions feature has been introduced keeping in mind the users’ constant need for information. The users can simply put up their questions via their profile’s dedicated status publish box or by visiting the Facebook Questions page.

However, Facebook it seems has decided to keep the Questions project away from search engines as none of the question asked on Facebook Questions have been put up for search engine indexing. Currently, the feature has been introduced in the Beta phase and those users who have been selected for the Betas run, will now be seeing their contacts’ questions in their news feeds. Facebook has provided the Question feature a more wider approach to the users, as the questions can even be tagged with topics, that can later be followed by updates. Also, the questions being asked by the users can also be formatted in to a form of a poll, with five choices available for each question.
