Moshimy Mobile Dock Cuts 96 per cent Radiation

Here is a mobile phone dock with a stylish difference. Hong Kong-based British designer Michael Young has come up with a mobile phone dock that is more friendly on you when you are not moving. That is, you are at your office or home.

It works more or less like the cordless of your land phone, but in a different way. It has been made for the product design firm Native Union. It is called Moshimy and has a dock to recharge the phone batteries and handset to make and get calls while you are at home or at office.

The dock surface is made of olive green plastic and brushed aluminium. The logic: Using another handset when not actually on the move can spare the user from 96% of radiation as compared to using mobile phone directly. It helps increase the everyday comfort of ‘living’ with a mobile and offers 96% protection from the radiation emitted from every mobile phone. The designer says it is not aimed at changing habits. The other argument, is that customers are not always mobile.

That is, they travel at times other than 16-20 hours of the 24 hours available. The multifunctional device comes integrated with Bluetooth Stereo speakers, conference call function and phone battery recharging dock.
