
‘Sarah’s story’ is a 90 seconds video campaign by Motor Neurone Disease Association which tells shocking real life story of Sarah Ezekiel who is battling with the disease. This film will be shown in 60 cinema halls across England and Wales.
The MND is a rare progressive neurodegenerative disease that leads to total immobility with loss of speech, and even difficulties in swallowing and breathing. This fatal disease can occur at stage of life. In UK alone there are more than 5000 people affected by MND. The MND Association provides and care and assistance to patients to live their daily life. The life expectancy is mostly anywhere between 2 to 5 years.
The video is shocking indeed. The progressive degeneration is depicted realistically. It will have an impact on viewers who would see this clipping when they go to watch latest flick. This is a hard hitting awareness campaign.
The story of real Sarah is truly inspiring. With awareness and assistance Sarah has managed to connect to the world. In spite of her lack of mobility and worsening symptoms Sarah is proactively campaigning through her own story and experience.
