Microsoft Surface, which has been long expected by many, was touted as a commercial product that could be used by companies and individuals who seek to use it as an interface to do many things at once. The product has impressed many for it transforms an ordinary tabletop into something that is cool, interactive and fun, all at the same time.
It perhaps is the first commercially available surface computer and interface. However, doubts are being raised about how commercially viable MS Surface could really be. MS Surface is likely to cost $12,500 which is more than $5,000 to $10,000 higher than what was earlier estimated.
However, competition may soon drive MS Surface to slash prices as rivals would soon catch up with it and perhaps trounce the product too! One would just have to wait and watch if the prices would come down in the near future or pray that a competitor launches something similar at a lower price.
