As we all know, the world population is ever increasing perpetually. Cities are becoming over crowded faster than ever imagined. This is perhaps the reason why, most cities are most often forced to opt for skyscrapers in order to accommodate the skyrocketing population. To tackle this problem but in a slightly different manner, Tropicool @ KL envisions a series of self sustaining mushroom skyscrapers, which incorporate natural energy sources, rain water harvesting, and bio-mass support that makes you feel you are living in a truly green environment.
The architectures have been done very creatively and innovatively. The idea about structuring the building into a mushroom shape is rather innovative. The structure’s circular tops are composed of miniature solar panels, which provide a power source while mimicking the process of photosynthesis that takes place in rain forest canopies.
It is very interesting to note that the whole concept is based on nature. Although the work is still in progress, this one for sure is worth considering. This way, the world will be much greener and the environment more eco-friendly. Indeed, we must encourage and welcome this innovative thinking!
