A new taxi concept has taken over Latin America. In fact, judges at the Red Dot Design Award, an international design competition, were so impressed that they chose it as the winner. We are talking about MX-LIBRIS, which is the brainchild of Alberto Villarreal.
The stylings of the tax, we hear, capture the aesthetics of public transport and look no where close to personal cars like ongoing tradition of the last so many years. Running on fuel cells, MX-LIBRIS utilizes drive-by-wire technologies which is a major step in term of replacing mechanical components with electronic ones. In other words, more space is created in the car.
So, you can well imagine how MX-LIBRIS is a compact vehicle with a large cabin area to accomodate multiple passengers and comfortably so too. The idea behind this zero-emissions vehicle is to offer Latin Awerican cities a joyride that everyone will remember. We think it will be a huge hit with tourists, especially, because MX-LIBRIS will soon be a part of the Latin American landscape.
