Portable fridges are usually designed for smaller flats or college dorms and rarely carry the style required for a cozy home. Furthermore, though portable, their size often makes it difficult to shift them around to different areas of the house, especially keeping in mind that there is a power outlet close by.

German designer Stefan Ulrich has kept all of this in mind while designing the portable fridge Neff. Apart from carrying a simplistic and stylish design, the Neff uses an interesting method for cooling the food placed within it. This portable fridge can save you a lot of power since it doesn’t require being plugged in at all times. Just place whatever you desire to cool within the fridge and once the fridge is completely powered you can remove it and place it at any desired location.

The Neff also uses the leftover energy from the kitchen and the cooling is done using a combination of new materials which lends to its power saving mode. Next time you have that terrace party, you wouldn’t need to keep running back downstairs for he chilled drinks: just carry your fridge with you!
