Nepal now has a new Prime Minister. Madhav Kumar, the communist party leader, was sworn in as the Prime Minister of Nepal. It has been only three weeks since his predecessor and Maoist counterpart resigned after the dispute with the president.
After the abolishment of monarchy, Nepal is still struggling amidst the political turmoil and chaos. The parliament has chosen the Communist party leader as their prime minister. Although it is an attempt to end all these chaos, hopefully the head of the state does his job successfully. The country has already suffered in the hands of these political gimmicks. The former Maoist leader, Pushpa Kamal Dahal also known as Prachanda was forced to resign earlier this month. The president had intervened in his attempt to put Nepal’s army chief out of his job as the army chief had reportedly refused to give former Maoist fighters jobs in the government military forces.
Hopefully, this time around, the Prime Minister of Nepal manages his country well where true democracy survives and lasts. Its time that the citizen of Nepal to live in peace.
