The fashion sense of the youngsters has always been a quite strange thing. Most teens would feel quite at home in a do-rag in the middle of a hot summer or be happy with their underpants in full view. The most weird fashion style for me has been shoes that light up when you walk.

Though this style hasn’t really been the in thing for a while, it appears to be coming back. The Nike Air Yeezy doesn’t just have a slightly strange name but also has a strange USP: the shoes glow in the dark. Giving this competition is the New Balance MT576S Bamboo Rake which is a collaboration of New Balance with Mita and FRAT. The shoes look really good with its rope and N emblem but what youngsters would really enjoy is the bright skull motif on the tongue of the shoe, apparently to represent good fortune. The shoes appear normal enough in the light, even if it does have a skull to symbolise good luck, but glows eerily green in the dark.

The shoes will hit the shops on the 4th of this month and will available from Mita. There isn’t any detailing about the pricing yet.
