Next Generation Apple iPhone Could Come To Verizon Wireless

The most sought after smart phone in the world, Apple iPhone could soon see itself on in the stores of Verizon Wireless, that happens to be one of the biggest wireless network carriers in the U.S. As per recent reports, Apple Inc. could very well be in the process of designing a new iPhone, that would be tethered with Verizon. There is even talks of Apple introducing two iPhones, one with its long standing partner, AT&T and other device is reportedly a CDMA device that will be available on Verizon.

The manufacturing task for the two new iPhones has been allocated to different companies. Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., the firm that manufactured the previous iPhones is apparently been tasked with the creation of the new iPhone for AT&T and Pegatron has apparently been given the responsibility to manufacture the iPhone CDMA version. The talks of the availability of the iPhone on Verizon network have been in the air for some time now, with the CEO of Verizon, Ivan Seidenberg stating that, there could be possibility of Apple iPhone being introduced on the carrier’s new 4G network.

If such a deal does in fact come into effect, it would be greatly beneficial for both Apple and the consumers. Verizon Wireless is known to be the largest wireless carrier in the U.S with a user base of 91 million subscribers, which in turn could add a substantial boost to the iPhone sales. On the other hand, iPhone owners who also had to become AT&T subscribers have long been frustrated by the poor network performance from AT&T and if iPhone does come to Verizon, then it would be a welcome break for the consumers.
