After all the popular networking sites, which have been perpetually creating new features on their site, Ning Apps came up with theirs today. Ning Apps, which is actually a third party applications based on OpenSocial 0.8, has launched its 1.5 million Ning social networks. Ning is not just an ordinary site. It lets you build your own social network around your areas of interest or group. Ning Apps offers you 90 different applications.

From Wordpress to Hulu to Qik are all available to Ning network creators. I wonder if users will be really too interesting to use all the 90 different applications. This is a quite a huge number. On the other hand, Ning is rather new, and with popular networking sites like Facebook and Twitter dominating the social networking world, it’s a tough world that Ning has to survive in.

We wish only the best to happen to Ning Apps, at least they have taken the risk to launch a 1.5 million networks, which is not a joke at all. The competition in the social networking site is indeed very tough. I am wondering if  facebook or Twitter will come up with a 100 applications.
