No more Dead or Tail-Snapped Rats with OneDown Rat Trap

Nothing can be more annoying than having a rodent turn your house its own living space. Squeaky noises, dirty droppings and gnawed food and wood are some of the indicators that a rat has been having a leisure time in your apartment. We have tried rat poison and those snappy wooden traps. Since we live in a world of hi-tech technology and design, Aakash Dewan came up with a much more classy and humane way of dealing with these pests-The One Down Rat Trap.

Had it not been for the little rat in the images, one could have easily mistaken these for open mouthed bowling pins. So the bottom of the vase holds the bait and to make it function as a trap, it needs to be put in a tripped position. And yet again, the rat would be lured towards bait and once it makes an entry into the bottom of the vase, it would stand upright. Owing to its tall neck, the rat wouldn’t be able to make its way out.

So no dead or tail-snapped rats around the house anymore! Too bad, this Rat Trap Vase is just a concept yet. Since the design doesn’t speak of any farfetched sci-fi tech, you could just expect this one to hit off the retail shelves soon.
