No New Nuclear Deal with Iran Say World’s Powerful Countries

Ali Akbar Salehi No New Nuclear Deal with Iran Say World’s Powerful Countries

France, Russia, and the US deny the existence of yet another nuclear deal with nuclearization-belligerent Iran after the country defied all opposition to its uranium enrichment program. Iran has asserted and now greenlights efforts to upgrade its uranium resources.

Edward Yeranian of VOANews.com reports that ‘Iran’s nuclear energy chief Ali Akbar Salehi says France, Russia and the United States have presented a new proposal to Tehran involving the exchange of its stockpile of low grade uranium. But U.S., Russian and French officials are denying a new offer has been presented.’

Iran’s Atomic Energy Agency Chief Ali Akbar Salehi has reportedly said that the government in Tehran is “in the process of considering” the “new offer” proposed by France, Russia and the United States, and which was a response to ‘Iran’s decision, last week, to produce its own 20-percent grade uranium.’

Such a significant turn of events, albeit bewildering, regarding an alleged proposal that involves major players on such a contentious and of-the-moment issue as the nuclearization of armaments and their ultimate use as weapons of mass destruction now seem to be an unbelievable matter of miscommunication.

But what comes out of Iran is said to be mostly propaganda to prop up the legitimacy of the powers in the country and their insistence to pursue their nuclear ambitions. Yeranian adds that ‘several analysts say Salehi’s remarks about a new proposal may be aimed at showing Iranians their government’s strategy is paying off. Iran missed an international deadline to accept a nuclear deal at the end of last month and has been sending contradictory statements about the issue for weeks.’

The Iran nuclear issue has now progressed into becoming a battle of PR propaganda. In the meantime, no one really knows exactly what goes on inside those nuclear plants in Iran that can be seen through Google Earth.
