Noise Won’t Hurt with Green Noise

There are times when the thundering noise of the aircrafts on the runways really pierces through your ear drums and it is beyond toleration. I think it is time we got used to it because the noise generated by these aircrafts can now be tamed and converted into electricity.

This ground-breaking attempt at conserving energy has been introduced by Hung-Uei Jou and is named as ‘The Green Noise’. This device captures the malignant sound waves emitted by the aircraft, converts is into electricity and then this electricity can later be used up for the runway lights.

It has a tripod structure that provides a base for a conical speaker form which is responsible for capturing the sound waves. The convenient set up of this gizmo doesn’t allow the rain water to settle in it, which makes it capable of being used in any type of climatic conditions. It also has a display screen to provide necessary information required by the personnel.

Soon this concept will find its application in different industries, cut energy costs and will not be a far cry from being available all across the globe. This is certainly going to be a landmark in the ‘go green’ revolution.
