The highly anticipated Nokia N900 is all set to shine in showrooms near you. The commercial release for Nokia N900 has been slated for November 14th 2009 for the United States and will make its debut in the international market as one of the most prominent and powerful smart phones. The N900 is expected to be introduced in the European markets two days after the U.S launch, i.e. on November 16th 2009. The Nokia N900 for the U.S consumers will cost about $649 and $890 for the European customers.

Built on the state of the art Maemo 5 operating platform, Nokia N900 boasts of an extremely fast processor that powers the N900 and makes it faster, reliable and extremely efficient in its segment. The device built around a 600 MHz processor with 1 GB of RAM, thereby making it nearly as fast a home PC. The entire OS of N900 is based around Linux operating system and comes with a 3D graphics accelerator providing OpenGL ES 2.0 support for exceptional graphic performance.

The all new Nokia N900 features a 5 Megapixel camera with a 800 × 480 resolution for video recording. One of the unique features of this device is the culmination of touch controls along with a full slide out QWERTY keyboard and its display is an impressive 3.5” WVGA. As far as storage capacity is concerned, Nokia N900 comes with a massive 32 GB of internal storage memory and can be expanded to a cool 48 GB via a micro SD card. In the field of wireless connectivity, Nokia has improved its wireless technology and the current generation of wireless adapter that has been embedded in N900 far surpasses any other Nokia wifi enabled handset. There is also the Assisted GPS, that works like a charm with the Ovi Maps.

    i dont see how the 14th will be the day. all the preorders would have to be shipped to be recieved on the 13th (friday) in order for us to really have it on the 14th (saturday)???!!!

    the 16th (monday) would seem more likely.

    ill believe it was released when i have to sign the fedex form, and when they actually take the money off my credit card, rather then just probe it to place a hold.
