We like electric vehicles for all their wonderful benefits to Mother Nature. But let’s be honest, there is a little snag that holds us from using them all the time. Yes, you guessed it right; we are talking about the long time it takes to recharge the batteries of the vehicle before it hits the road. Fear no more, Eneco Energy is here with the first public charging station.
Kudos to the think tank for taking away, perhaps the only stain from electric vehicles. The charging station called NRGSPORT is situated in Rotterdam and is capable of generating electric power by using durable sources that are no where close to harming the environment. Buzz is that NRGSPORT will soon integrate a charging system of its own that will fully charge an empty scooter within just 30 minutes. The spot will be good for delivery scooters, electric bicycles, electric cars and delivery trucks too.
You can access the system by becoming a member. The interface is pretty intelligent, you just have to log-in and then charge the vehicle in the next 15-30 minutes. So far, Eneco has decided to install this system in big and important cities only, that too near shopping centres.
