Obama Finally Issues Much Anticipated Order to Send More Troops in Afghanistan

All the news leaks have proved true and Obama has finally made a decision to send more troops to Afghanistan and has issued orders though numbers have not been revealed yet. Formal announcement by President Obama is expected on Tuesday. The new reinforcement strategy will be known in next two days when Obama and his team at White House will try to convince the American people, Congress and American allies. It is expected that some 30,000 more troops will be sent to troubled war torn land to fight Taliban and other terrorists groups.

This was a much anticipated decision after Thanksgiving holiday. It will be very difficult to sell the idea to American people and that too during the times of recession. More prolonged war means more spending of public money on defense. Obama is in consultation with world leaders and troops from France, Russia, UK and US are expected to be sent.

There has been a demand from more troops from the Military head in Afghanistan. It seems Obama has chalked out entire strategy after rounds of discussions with advisors, military leaders, and foreign leaders to make a time-bound schedule including exit of troops from foreign soil. But still war is a war and after spate of recent casualties this news of more troops will only bring sadness to family of soldiers and peace lovers. The real question is, will more troops end the war?
