Ogilvy’s building on Ste. Catherine St. is a historic building that is part of Montreal’s heritage. Montreal is a teeming city that is known for its unique French history and colonial architecture.
The Ogilvy’s building on Ste. Catherine St is now expected to fetch about $100 million when it would be sold to Le Groupe Devimco. The group is one of the backers of Quartier Dix30 lifestyle centre in Brossard. The sale is almost over and though there was nobody available for a quick comment, it looks like the old building will fetch about $100 million no matter what. It would be amazing if the building was maintained as it is.
Usually new owners do not realize how best to take care of the building even if they are genuinely interested in taking care of it. Meanwhile, Montreal has seen an increase in the number of houses and building sold for astronomical prices as people have come to believe that it is one of the most liveable cities in the world. However, Montreal can get quite annoying when it snows real hard, and the shovels need to be sued quite often.
