While the death toll is feared to be in the thousands now, reports are coming in that the presidential palace and many other governmental buildings also have been flattened in Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti. Thousands are feared dead and about 3 million people are said to be affected by the gigantic earthquake which measured 7.3 on the Richter scale.
