‘Laundry’ sounds familiar, right? It’s one of those tasks we find on our ‘to do’ list every weekend. The task is tiring, and we spend hours washing the dirt off our clothes. Electrolux has found a way to give us a laundry-free weekend. One minute washing machine, the pet project of Korean designers Jung Hyun Cho and Bo Ram,Hong will wash your clothes in just one minute.

Inspired by the design and mechanism of human gut, the machine too takes your dirty laundry through a systematic course of events resembling a relay race. It runs on electronically decomposed water components which under high pressure break down protein. The vacuum cleaner then dries the clothes and the ultraviolet sterilizer kills the microbes. All this happens in just 60 seconds.

This high-tech, eco-friendly washing machine doesn’t need any soap which otherwise pollutes water with harmful chemicals and probably consumes less power compared to conventional washing machines.
