For the 82nd Academy Awards, or more commonly referred to as the 2010 Oscars, this a company called, Distinctive Assets came out with a unique idea that involved the give away of a $92,000 gift basket to the Oscar nominees, who did not get to win any. This lavish gift basket is composed of an African Safari, tickets to an all exclusive fitness bootcamp and a Tiffany crystal studded cat collar and this one of a kind gift basket is being called as “Everybody wins at the Oscars”.

However, this year around, the stars have somewhat been reluctant in accepting this ‘consolation prize) due to the fact that, if they accept the gift then they would be obligated to get photographed for the sake of promotion of the products that come with the basket. The actors and actresses have been a bit shy this year in regards to the free giveaway, as many of them are concerned about the negative effects such a gimmick would have on their fans, who are already suffering from the aftermaths of a brutal recession.

The “Everybody wins at the Oscars” gift basket which includes a $30,000 African Safari, along with a trip to Monte Carlo among other goodies, could prove to be just what the stars needed to mend their broken hearts after not being able to win the immensely prestigious Oscar golden statuette.
