The inventor of Pac-Man attended a technology event bearing no less than the original drawings of what would become one of the most important titles in the world of gaming.

According to Kotaku, Toru Iwatani, the renowned Japanese game designer, was invited to the Festival of Games that took place earlier this month in the province of Utrecht, Netherlands. To the surprise of the conference presenter, Iwatani was carrying the original sketches of the game Pac-Man himself.

Personnel Control Magazine Online, the Netherlands also had the pleasure to peruse the drawings, made on graph paper, to simulate the pixels, with smudges, pencil marks erased and personal notes. This project, first seen as top secret, was revealed to the public and is a source of pride for the Japanese that their name permanently engraved in the history of videogames.

Pac-Man was created in 1980 for the Japanese games publisher Namco and is acclaimed today. A video producer in the U.S., call Productions Therefore, published three months ago a trailer fictitious, in which one of the actors represented the hungry yellow dot.

Google Inc, even honored Iwatani in May this year, turning your logo into an interactive scenario for the game, who turned 30 in 2010.
