Telia got the ad right when they unveiled the poster campaign for their Mobile GPS Service. The Telia Mobile GPS Service poster shows page numbers being written boldly and covering almost half the page to indicate where you are, without any confusion. Most GPS systems fail to help users with a lot of clutter in them.
Telia seems to be trying to convey that using their GPS Service would let the user know where he or she is and keep a track of their position, sans any confusion. Storakers McCann designed the ad and it has been titled ‘Pages’. The Pages campaign will certainly reach he right target audience at the right moment.
However, it would have done good to include the picture of the GPS in the copy as the screen size of an instrument like that is important and people would like to know how big or small the screen of the GPS service really is. Nevertheless, it is an intelligent ad for an otherwise boring product where you would alienate the common consumer with a lot of technical information if you printed specifications.
