Pakistan Taliban, that has become the bane of Pakistan’s peace and has been carrying out relentless terror attacks all across the country, has urged the its followers and fighters to fight ferociously against the military of Pakistan, that is currently conducting massive offensive campaign to root out the Taliban and other foreign fighters from the South Waziristan region.
The message to the militants from the chief of Pakistan Taliban, Hakimullah Mehsud states,
“Remember this is the commandment of God that once fighting starts with the enemy, you cannot leave the battlefield without permission from your commander, and don’t look for excuses to run away from the fighting. Such people will go to hell. We are in jihad and we should not pay heed to the whispers of Satan. We should sacrifice our lives for Islam so that we can feel pride on the day of judgment.”
Despite these words from one of the most dreaded terrorists in the world, the militant outfits operating in the region are suffering from heavy casualties, as more and more of their fighters are being gunned down by the Pakistani army or are being blown to oblivion by the airstrikes. The Pakistani military has issued a statement, saying that, hundreds of militants have already lost their lives in the battle with the security forces and even hundred more lay injured and possibly incapable of continuing the fight.
Whatever may be the ends result of this bloody feud, the fact remains that, it is the people pf Pakistan, that are paying for the current situation with their lives. With more intense and deadly suicide bomb attacks and commando style raids on government establishments, the terrorists have been successful in striking fear into the heart of every man, woman and child in Pakistan.
