Drew Barrymore once paired a Roberto Cavalli creation with a simplistic and extremely stylish paperclip necklace and Ralph Fiennes taught us how therapeutic paperclips can be in the movie Maid in Manhattan. Whether you choose to believe it or not, paperclips are used for so much more than they were originally invented for.
The Paperclip Lamp takes after the original paperclip and appears to be a slightly larger version of it with the added bonus of doubling as a lamp. Just like the small paper friendly clips, the Paperclip Lamp can also be bent into different shapes while exuding a dim and strangely tranquil glow from within. Designed by David Wykes and Benoit Collette from Teague, the Paperclip Lamp is designed after the instinctive nature of every individual to bend paperclips out of shape the moment we pick one up.
Like paperclips, this giant sized clip can be bent into different shapes and back into its original shape. It doesn’t appear to exude a very strong light but this would fit so well into almost any decor. The Paperclip Lamp is an absolute must for a chic office.
