L'eau de Feline..my favourite scent!

In less than a week, most men are going to be speeding to candy shops and the flower shops and trying to find time in between to stop at a Hallmarks/Archies to pick the right card. And most of you would probably be sweating as your heart pumps in overtime and asking yourself if it was okay to buy chocolates when she is on a diet and what kind of flower she said she likes most. Guys, relax, take a deep breath, and walk over to the pet shop.

Most men think roses, chocolates, and diamonds the moment February arrives. What you don’t seem to realise is that not every girl sits around dreaming of diamonds. Sure, a beautiful pair of heart shaped jewels will definitely light up their eyes, but would it truly win you a permanent place in their hearts? Forget the usual gifts this Valentine’s and give your lady love something she wouldn’t expect, something she would love and cuddle, something that would love her in return and give her company when you’re stuck at the office. A sleepy eyed kitty or a sad eyed puppy will make her scream “I love you!” louder than a year’s worth of candies. A pet is the sweetest gift a girl could receive (and it’s the safest to give, too) and the only way you could possibly go wrong here is if you mistake a cat-girl for a dog-girl.

Go ahead. Dare to be the different guy, the special tender-loving  guy, this Valentine’s. A pet is the gift that I guarantee she will love and treasure forever. Pets will teach you all about love and compromises, but if things start looking bad she may throw the diamond studded platinum ring back at you but she would go to the courts to keep the pet cat with her!

If it’s neither cats nor dogs for your girl, no worries. She probably walks the wild side and would prefer something more exotic. Me, I always thought bats were the most beautiful creatures!
