We just love to celebrate eco-friendliness. And that is just the reason why we were delighted to find that Zitta Schnitt an industrial design student, studying in Vienna, has found a wonderful use for discarded PET bottles that are produced and used in such large quantities everyday. Well, she has created a zippered container from the bottoms of these plastic bottles.
Yes, and these frog-like (owing to the color green of the PET bottles) contraptions function well as a funky purse to store your tiny knick knacks, condoms or just sort your change. Kudos to Miulein for such cool thinking. Because let us not forget tat PET (polyethylene terephthalate) will outlive us.
You heard it right; scientists reveal that it won’t even start to break down before the 28th century. It is something like medieval peasants using something tat is still around today. This is just why the use of new PET is not very popular and people are finding ways to recycle and reuse the empty bottles. Coming back to the PET purse, we think it will be a hip must-have with a clean conscience.
