Philips Introduces Its First Google Android Powered Smart Phone

Smart Phones have become the biggest in the wireless communications markets these days and have witnessed an exponential growth in the last few years, with major brands such as Nokia, Sony Ericsson, HTC, Apple etc, launching new models almost every day. Keeping this tide steady, Philips has also revealed its own smart phone that is based entirely on the Google Android platform, called Philips V808.

Philips V808 sports a one touch internet access key, a Google search bar and a customizable desktop. Users can add clock, internet, address book etc. on their phone’s desktop as per their choice with the extremely interactive and powerful customization features, provided by Philips.

Along with the customizable desktops, Philips V808 sports a 3.2 inch touch screen with a 320×480 pixels resolution. As far as the boastful features in Philips V808 smart phone are concerned, this cool gadget comes with a 3.2 MP (Mega-Pixel) camera that also supports video recording and playback.

GPS or Global Positioning System is also a big feature in this handset, with a GPS application loaded with maps, a GPS car holder and a car charger.
