Working like a Japanese fan, the Piccells piece can be kept closed and work as a room divider (in case your witless roommate can’t take a hint). In its closed state, it can also be used a small coffee table. Once the piece is opened, the ‘cells’ within inflate to create a furniture piece that looks almost like a giant sized sea anemone. Linking of the various cells can be adjusted by hand to offer maximum comfort and variations.

The outer cells of the Piccells also light up, making it a fashionable piece of furniture than anyone would want to display. If you’re not into furniture piece that look like orange pips, you could opt for other structure variants, including leaves and butterflies.
