Pimped Up Volvo 1800 Set For Limited Edition Production

There can be nothing cooler than speeding down a highway with your arm sticking out of your car window pretend-playing flying. That is kind of hard to do in an old car that can’t go above 30mph. What you need is a super cool looking Volvo P1800.

Don’t ask me why I badly need this car to cruise around town but how can anyone say no to something that looks this stylish? The custom P1800 featured above has been pimped up by Koeniggsegg engineer, Mattias Vöx with the help of Swedish designer Bo Zolland from design firm Vizualtech. The spruced up P1800 has larger wheel housings and a700mm extension at the head of the car on the exterior. Adding power to the car is a V8 engine (from a Volvo XC90 SUV) with a turbo charger taking the power to 600hp. Phew!

There is no information on when the customised P1800 would be making its appearance or how much the limited edition would be sold for. When it does get out, you can also expect more mods including a rear diffuser, flat underside and a redesigned front-end.
