The once lush and green Mediterranean region today faces the same problems as much of the remaining of the world does- pollution and an expansion of human settlement. This naturally leads to a destruction of the natural habitat and has created an atmosphere which makes the replanting and protection of trees such as Pines almost impossible. It is at this point that technology and innovative architectural solutions step in to create a grand and lavish artificial park that supports a re-planted and protected park. The Pinar de Perruquet Park conceived by ARTEKS Arquitectura ensures that natural vegetation is once again restored in this now barren land.

The idea is to create a vast artificial structure that contains giant supports for the young pine tress and a hexagonal structure that accommodates for the swing and movement that is brought in by the wind. This allows for the sustenance of an artificial ‘forest-like’ environment that promises to bring back to the region some of its lots natural splendor. Unique and challenging the creation of Pinar de Perruquet Park is another example of man redeeming himself and trying to lend nature a helping hand!
