Given the increasing number of road accidents all over the world, each nation, city has social awareness campaigns regarding road safety. Here are two ads from Poland’s Traffic Department of the Warsaw Metropolitan Police. The pictures do make the point about necessity of wearing helmets and avoiding cracked skulls. The message is simple and straight. It says “Thinking Saves Lives. Wear A Helmet.”

The two ads created by McCann Erickson Polska, Warsaw, Poland show a young girl and a boy falling off bikes and hitting their heads. A momentary lapse of caution by reckless youths does prove fatal. The message implies that thinking about safety will save heads and life. But young trendy people hardly spare a thought before hitting the street.
More than creating social awareness there must be strict road rules, regulations and fine for reckless speeding and not wearing helmets. Only then one can save precious young lives which often perish due to little negligence.
Nevertheless these advertisements from Polish Traffic Department do make their point clear. It is a subtle reminder that after all its your head and you must think about protecting it!!
