A cluttered office is the sign of a chaotic and disorganised mind and this doesn’t bear well for you when you’re trying hard to get the boss to give you a raise. Today’s offices scream efficacy boldly and one of the things connected to this clean image is that of hidden cable.
The number of electronic devices that we use in any office leads to the presence of a number of power cords. Trying to hide them away can give you a massive headache, especially if your office wasn’t already built with just that in mind. Designer Hyuk Jae Chang draws upon the idea (and old habit that we all have) of simply flipping things over when one side of it starts to look unappealing. The Power Bridge concept involves plugging the cords to the power strip upside down.
Shaped like a bridge, the power strip allows you to plug in all the cords upside down and has a single entrance point so it appears as though only one power cord is present, giving off a less cluttered look. Plus, the Power Bridge has an outlet display on top showing the amount of power being used by each power cord.
