We have seen a lot of computer mouse, some are wired, others wireless, some are more conventional and other tend to be a bit towards the stylish side. However, if there is one mouse that beats them all, then it sure is the WarMouse Meta. This one of a kind mouse is not only larger than the others, but it has also been fitted not two, not three, but eighteen buttons, that can be programmed to handle various tasks, all at the click of a ‘button’. It the only mouse that we know of, that comes with its very own 512K of RAM and costs an astounding $79.99 a piece.
The WarMouse Meta is as expected a bulky and over expanded mouse that, doesn’t even come close to the term, ‘comfort’. The cord of the WarMouse is extremely short and thereby would force the users to sit near their CPUs or use a USB extension cord. Inspite of the ‘Shrek‘ like design of the WarMouse Meta, the sixteen button placed on the top of the device are categorically placed that end on either side with the conventional left and right click buttons. Furthermore, the left side of the device houses a joystick and a rounded-triangle shaped clicker.
The WarMouse Meta mouse comes with a Meta Modeware PC software, that enables the users to change the settings and the associations of the eighteen buttons of the mouse. The entire software has been designed from the perspective of a novice user and hence proves to be incredibly easy to navigate and work with. The user interface of the software provides the users with a list of compatible programs their systems, that can be controlled by the WarMouse Meta. With the help of this pre-selected list, the users can then simply assign their choice of buttons to the corresponding programs and voila!, all set to use their WarMouse with extreme ease of accessibility.
