We all dream of going on a road trip, a journey, that has no pre-arranged destination and where we can all roam free like a bird, without any hassles. When we talk about road trips, all we can think of is cool breeze flowing through our hair, the occasional stops at a diner and the thrill of not knowing, in which town or city we might end up. This all sounds pretty conventional to a fully functional human being, but to those who are physically disabled, such an exciting road trip is just a dream, that seldom comes true.
However, a company called Mobility Conquest, that is dedicated to improve the transportation methods for the disabled has now unveiled an all new motorcycle, that has been designed and developed especially for the physically disabled. The all new Conquest Wheelchair is powered by a 1170 CC BMW engine and comes with six forward gears and one reverse. This highly innovative motorcycle is capable to achieving a top speed of 105 mph and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 7.6 seconds. The Conquest Wheelchair is composed of a rear automatic ramp that allows the rider to mount the bike, with least minimum effort and one of the most astounding features of this bike is, that the rider never needs to get off his wheelchair. This incredible bike can accommodate a rider, the wheelchair and a passenger and the bike itself has been thoroughly road tested as well as meet all U.S safety standards.

The Conquest Wheelchair is expected to be unveiled at National Veteran’s Wheelchair Games in Denver from 4th to 9th July, 2010.

Thank you for the post,
We have met so many Veterans who are now excited to connect with their passion for riding motorcycles again! Until now they were told “never again”
As we met 100’s of competitors for the games we could not help being inspired by their determination to not let anyone define their limitations. I will be posting pictures on the Mobility Conquest fan page on Facebook, check out their smiles behind the handlebars again.
They inspire me!
