This one of a kind device has been designed and developed for the sole purpose of harnessing energy from the near shore waves and then convert it into sustainable electricity. The Oyster Wave Power consists of a giant hinged flap that is pushed by the waves and leads to electricity generation. This incredible device has only seven working parts, including two hydraulic pumps, four valves and a hinge.

The mere fact that, this device sends only pressurized water to the shores and not electricity, keeps essential transmission equipment such as generator, converters, transformers etc. absolutely dry and thus able to generate electricity from these pressurized waters.
