Being the President of a country is no easy job. Especially in this difficult time of recession, you have to think about your fellow citizens and do everything that you can to cut down on your spending. U.S. president elect, Barrack Obama who was rumoured to have bought his wife a rhodium ring could learn a thing or two from President Bush.

President Bush cares about his people so much that a couple days ago he decided that he was apparently spending way too much of the honest tax payers money on his wardrobe. In a show of love and solidarity that crosses national boundaries, President Bush accepted the worn out boots of an Iraqi journalist. Unfortunately, he had forgotten to inform the security officials of this public show of humbleness and the journalist was arrested and beaten up by the uninformed officers.

In fact, President Bush might even now be sitting in the luxury of the White House regretting the fact that the now-celebrated shoes missed his persona by two inches. For all we know, he might be penning a sad letter of apology to Muntadar al-Zaidi for losing the coveted shoes to his security officials.
