Your folks may push you to school but when it comes to wisdom there is more to be learnt from Calvin and Hobbes and Garfield than any teacher. A recent research by two American scientists shows that the most miserable day of the week is Wednesday, and this was something I learnt from Garfield as a kid.
Garfield may rant about how he hates Mondays but even this cat once wisely explained that Wednesday is actually worse because it is so far from the weekend and we would have forgotten how good it had felt over the previous weekend. This is exactly what professors Christopher Danforth and Peter Dodds of Vermont University found upon analyzing words used in 2.4 million internet blogs.
Danforth and Dodds ranked the words on a scale of 9 and found that individuals used positive words such as rainbow and happy more often over the weekends and negative words like cruel and hatred were most common on Wednesday. Contrary to popular belief, Monday was the second happiest day of the week since individuals are still reminiscing their great weekends.
