Public Space: Private Workstations For Busy Public Places

Employers are an amazing breed of species that expect you to be able to stay on top of work no matter what the time, place or situation. If you’ve ever tried explaining to your boss about how your plane has been delayed and you’re stuck at the airport, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Public Space must have been designed by someone who had an especially grouchy boss. The Public Space is a personal work-station designed with separate capsules for each user providing each individual with privacy to work in comfort. The workstation provides the users with access to power and data. The ergonomic design of the work space allows the user to adjust the height and angle for utmost comfort as he works. The curved walls ensure that you need not worry about someone looking over your shoulder and steal an interesting idea.

The Public Space is designed to be set up in busy places a traveller is most likely to get stuck at. Knowing the reliability of planes and trains, the Public Space would be a great addition to any airport or train station. A creation of the Manuel Saez design studio, the Public Space is an attempt to craft a product that is practical as well as emotionally appealing.
