Very many decades ago, fortune hunters looking for treasure went on a mad rampage knocking off the tips of beautiful pyramids that had been a remnant of ancient Egypt. You’re probably all decent folk who wouldn’t dare to do something so horrid for some treasure going to tell you how to get your very own pyramid, from Japan!
The 1984 PyramidTalk clock from Seiko was cool enough to that it has remained in production throughout the past years. Now, Seiko is coming out with the upgraded version of the PyramidTalk. In case you’re not too familiar with the clock, here’s an update: shaped (obviously) like a pyramid, the clock verbally announces the time instead of sticking to the boring tradition of displaying the time. Those who are hard of hearing need not fear because the clock also displays the time, but on its bottom!
The 8cm tall clock needs only for you to press the tip of the pyramid for it to announce the time and light up the blue LED. Press this twice more and the clock will read out the date, temperature and humidity in Japanese or English. The $120 PyramidTalk also works as an alarm clock and those who bought the original claim they still own it, in working condition!PyramidTalk From Seiko
