The hatred in the hearts minds of the radical Islamists against the United States of America is now pouring all over the streets of New York City, the bustling financial capital of America. Outside a mosque in the Manhattan region of New York, the radical Islamist organization, Revolution Muslim are actively spreading the word of hatred and violence the United States. Despite repeated request by the local Imam to stop such activities the organization’s activists are distributing fliers and carrying out anti-American speeches outside the 96th Street mosque. This religious center is the venue for more than 4,000 Muslims, who come here every day to offer their daily prayers.

On the other hand, the Imam incharge of the mosque’s activities, preaches solidarity, peace and the real essence of Islam and has been calling out to other Muslim nations to lay down their arms and embrace the true Islam, that preaches peace, harmony and compassion. According to Imam Shamsi Ali,

“What we try to do is reminding our people about the real Islam. We tell them what the real Islam is all about. Islam is about peace. Islam is about moderation. Islam is about friendship. Islam is opposed to any kind of hatred against anybody.”

The irony of the situation being that, no matter how much radical and damaging these messages be, the U.S authorities are bounded by the country’s First Amendment, that glorifies ‘Freedom of Speech’. However, such technicalities are not in the way of the F.B.I who are closely watching the preachers and the organization itself. An unnamed FBI agent has stated that, though no action is being taken against the ongoing propaganda, yet the group and its members are under constant surveillance.

According to Yousef al-Khattab, a member of the Revolution Muslim,

“Americans will always be a target — and a legitimate target — until America changes its nature in the international arena. “I love him (Osama Bin Laden) like I can’t begin to tell you, because he doesn’t seem to have done anything wrong from the sharia. If you’re asking me if I love him as a Muslim, I love him more than I love myself.”

The constant illicit preaching from the activists have led to occasional heated debate with the passing by pedestrians and the mosques itself has called the police on the member of the radical group couple of times.
